Welcome!: Looxi Beauty Swatches & Mini Review

Hello all and thanks for stopping by!! So, yes it is New Years Day (technically), so Happy New Years!!!! I'm going through all of my indie eyeshadows and swatching them for you, but I really wanted to get the Looxi Beauty swatches done tonight! Looxi is bringing back nine of the fifteen shadows from The Aurora Collection and adding some more goodies (I have a sneak peek from their IG reposted and I'm SO excited!!!).

I found Looxi Beauty on Instagram when I was looking for indie companies and right away their swatches stood out to me. I'm all about the color which is what grabbed me, but I have also been in this fall matte color phase as well. So, in October I placed my first order! I got my first seven shadows in a timely manner and fell in love! The shadows swatched nice, but in all honestly they went on the lid even better. They are very smooth and buttery on first touch. Granted, the ones that have glitter you can feel it on swatch, but nothing offensive to the eye (I have super sensitive eyes).

As of now Looxi offers Matte and Shimmer Eyeshadows and Highlighters. Their LE The Aurora Collection is being made permanent and is available today January 1st @ 7pm CST (8pm EST/5pm PST) along with new highlights and other new shadows!!! They come in 26mm pans (standard MAC size pan) have 1.3g/.04oz of product and are only $5 each! Their Highlights come in 36mm pans with 6.5g/.2oz of products or you can opt to have them in a compact (57mm pan 9.0g/.35oz) for $15. Looxi carries Z Palettes as well!

In all honesty a camera can not fully bring The Aurora Collection to life. Like any duo/multi chrome shadows its hard to capture the beautiful shift. With any eyeshadow I always apply a primer and if I want the color to pop a bit more my go to is using NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. I have swatched my collection below with no primer/fix+, etc. I hope you give Looxi Beauty a try because I don't think you will be dissapointed!!!
